Cheryl McCaughan
President & C.O.O.
Cheryl McCaughan joined Access Medical as Chief Operating Officer in 2004, assuming the role of President & C.O.O., in September, 2006. Starting her career in municipal government in 1981, she built her career in firms in both the public and private sectors, in the medical, oil & gas, construction, information technology industries & real estate development. She is proud to both lead & support Access Medical's exceptional team with her extensive background and experience in the areas of administration, finance, human resources, contract management and corporate strategic planning.
In addition to her current executive role with Access Medical, she is also the co-founder and partner of two other private enterprise ventures, and has held volunteer positions on a number of not-for-profit organizations. Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Cheryl received her education at the Universities of Alberta and Calgary and will graduate from the Entrepreneurial Masters Program at M.I.T. in Boston in June, 2008.

Darren Boser
AED Program Specialist, Paramedic
Darren Boser has over twenty (20) years experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) as a Paramedic and Senior Manager, bringing his extensive background in customer service, response planning, program development and public & media relations in his key role as Access Medical's AED Program Specialist. Darren researched, developed and implemented a public access defibrillation (PAD) program in the community where he worked as a Paramedic. He is also the principal author of the book published by Access, "A Heart for the Community" and co-developer of the HeartSave AwarenessTM Program created & patented by the company, that has been adopted and licensed to communities throughout North America to help them implement community & corporate PAD programs.
Based out of Access Medical's Saskatoon office, over the past eight (8) years, Darren has worked successfully with corporations & organizations of all sizes throughout North America, from smaller corporations requiring only a single AED unit to the "Fortune 500 and 1000" size companies with multiple locations spread out across the country requiring multiple units, while also in assisting and supporting firms with implementing successful AED programs and response plans. He has received recognition from many communities, organizations & health care facilities for his tireless work as an advocate of public access defibrillation and as a HeartSave AwarenessTM Coach. |

Lynn Paterson
Senior CSR & AED Co-ordinator
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, and raised & educated in Edmonton, Alberta, Lynn Paterson joined Access Medical's administration team in 2003, bringing her exceptional customer service skills and ethic from her career experience in the banking, hospitality and medical services sectors. As a result of her superior knowledge of our AED products, attention to detail and commitment to the highest level of customer care and support, Lynn assumed the role of Senior CSR and AED Co-ordinator in 2005, through which she continues to dedicate herself to exceeding the expectations of our valuable customers through the creation and enhancement of our client service & support processes.

Laura Mitchell
CSR/Administrator
A native Calgarian, Laura Mitchell has been with Access Medical since 2005, and combined with her role as our Administrator, she also assists with providing superior customer support to our clients as a result of her experience in the retail & service sectors. In addition to taking care of the organization and execution of our day-to-day administrative needs, Laura assists with our ongoing marketing development and strategies, having graduated in 2003 with a diploma in Marketing from Mount Royal College's Business Administration Program.
